Installation Tips

Step One: Quote Preparation
Your quote may come rolled up. Unwrap and lay it flat until it stops rolling up. Setting it in a warm area or placing some books on it will help to flatten it out. This step makes it easier to install.

The quote will have clear or white application tape (looks and feels like white masking tape) on the front of it, and white backing paper on the back. With the quote facing up, take the application tool and firmly rub (burnish) over the application tape to ensure that the letters are sticking to the tape. Place a piece of masking or painter’s tape along the top edge of the quote.

Step Two: Surface Preparation
Wipe the surface with a lint-free cloth to ensure that the surface area is clean, smooth and free of dust.
